Josh says:

I own a 1993 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 EX California Highway patrol car. The car has 156K original miles on it. The car is super clean in & out. I purchased the car approximately 6 months ago in a local newspaper from a private party. Recently, I have completely restored the paint back to its original color of Black and white. Originally, when the car was sold to the public, it was painted red. When I received the car, the body was super clean but the paint was completely faded. So, I took it upon myself to have the red paint stripped off by a good friend of mine who does custom paint work and the car was painted 2 stage with base coat + clear coat , color sand and buff with the addition of smoked lights. In addition, the car has 3.73 gears, Centerline wheels, off road exhaust, roller rockers, shorty headers, pulleys, fender ram air kit and a throttle body. The car runs 12.8's in the 1/4 mile with the original motor and trans in it. You know, I have to say that I really do love these 93 CHP cars. They are great!! Also, I found out from the CHP that in 1993 they ordered 150 of these high pursuit mustang LX's. I have a memo from the CHP when they ordered these cars that they requested 150 of them from Ford. Anyway, here are a few pictures of my car to show you as well as other Police mustang enthusiasts that there are all kinds of Police Interceptor mustangs and styles out there. (In addition, I have the original unused spare tire with the original tire sticker on it) Tire is still brand new.rd.

Mike adds:

156k miles and still running strong..after spending it's life as a Police vehicle! Pretty impressive.
